From Overwhelmed to In Control: My Journey Out of Debt
I’m not a financial advisor. I’m not a guru. I’m just someone who, not long ago, was drowning in debt — the kind that keeps you up at night, dodging phone calls and feeling like there’s no way out.
At one point, I owed multiple credit cards, personal loans, and lived paycheck to paycheck. I tried ignoring it, hoping it would somehow sort itself. It didn’t.
But what did help was taking it one step at a time.
Why did I create this blog?
I didn’t need expert advice from a millionaire.
I needed real solutions from real people — simple steps, small wins, and the courage to face the numbers.
If you’re trying to fix your finances and feel overwhelmed, you’re not alone. This space is for you — to feel seen, encouraged, and supported.
This isn’t about shaming anyone. It’s about honesty, real solutions, and proven strategies for everyday people who want to regain control over their money.
I’ll walk you through everything I’ve learned — from understanding debt, choosing the right payoff method (snowball vs avalanche), rebuilding a budget, to eventually starting to save and invest.
This blog is a journey — not a finished product. I’ll share what works, what fails, and how I keep going even when things get tough. If you’re tired of advice from people who’ve never been in your shoes, you’re in the right place.
Let’s walk out of this — together.
Why not?
